Techno-Functional Consultant, Dynamics 365 CRM
The role Execute a signed-off Dynamics 365 CRM design for an insurance carrier's agency distribution team. Agency identity syncs in from the core system through Fabric and stays read-only; production is read live through virtual tables; the CRM owns visits, tasks, notes and contacts. One person carries both halves: configure the system, and sit with the business to get it right.
What you will do
Build the Dataverse data model: extended account and contact tables, a custom visit activity, choice lists, business rules and forms, from a field-level design that already exists.
Deliver the integration with the client's data team: a daily sync keyed on an alternate key, sync-filled lookups, virtual tables over production, and a write-back of assignments to the core system.
Configure seven security roles from an agreed access matrix, plus Power Automate flows for follow-up reminders and notifications.
Build role-based dashboards, set up Outlook and Teams integration, and run the ALM pipeline with the pac CLI. Run working sessions, close open design items, and demo working software at monthly checkpoints.
Must have
4 to 8 years with Dynamics 365 Sales / Dataverse; at least two end-to-end implementations. Deep configuration: tables, alternate keys, custom activities, business rules, forms, model-driven apps.
Dataverse security (roles, BUs, teams, column security) and production-grade Power Automate.
External data integration: virtual tables, dataflows or Fabric pipelines, upserts on alternate keys; ALM with the Power Platform CLI.
The functional half: runs a requirements session and presents to business stakeholders without a translator.
Nice to have
P&C insurance distribution (agencies, producers, appointments). Fabric or Synapse; Power BI. Power Pages. Copilot for Sales. PL-200, MB-210 or PL-400
