Location: CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Onsite) Employment Type: ContractDuration: 12 months Role Overview
In this contingent assignment, the Scrum Master will consult on and participate in moderately complex Agile initiatives and deliverables. The role supports large-scale planning related to Scrum Master responsibilities, analyzes delivery challenges, and contributes to resolving impediments affecting team performance. The Scrum Master will apply an understanding of Agile principles, policies, and procedures while collaborating closely with client personnel to support consistent and effective delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support teams in applying Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe practices to drive predictable delivery.
- Identify, track, and help resolve impediments and delivery risks.
- Coach team members on Agile principles and best practices.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to support backlog readiness and planning.
- Monitor team health and delivery metrics; escalate issues as appropriate.
- Ensure Agile processes comply with organizational policies and compliance requirements.
- Act as a servant leader to promote continuous improvement and team effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years of Scrum Master or Agile experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working across multiple Agile teams or programs.
- Familiarity with enterprise Agile governance, controls, or compliance requirements.
- Facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is $61.00 to $65.00 per hour. Contract benefits are available to eligible employees.
