Bill Rate: $68 - $73
Top Requirements (Must Haves):
  • 5+ years of Agile delivery experience
  • 4+ years as a hands-on Scrum Master
  • Prior project management / program delivery experience
  • Experience supporting cross-functional technology or data teams
  • Strong experience managing risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines
  • Strong communication, facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder partnership skills
  • Proficiency with Agile metrics (velocity, throughput, predictability, flow)
  • Ability to resolve impediments and lead teams in complex, matrixed environments
  • Nice to Have:
  • CSM, PSM, or equivalent Scrum certification
  • PMP or other project management certification
  • Experience with scaled Agile frameworks
  • Background supporting regulatory or highly governed environments
  • Experience coaching junior Scrum Masters or Agile teams
  • Experience in large enterprise Agile transformations
  • Job Summary:

    The Scrum Master 4 serves as a senior servant-leader and Agile delivery expert responsible for coaching one or more cross-functional Agile teams, promoting Agile maturity, and enabling predictable, high-quality delivery. This role blends Scrum mastery, Agile coaching, and project delivery oversight, ensuring teams remain aligned to business objectives, risks are managed effectively, and communication across teams and stakeholders remains transparent.

    The Scrum Master will resolve complex delivery challenges, guide continuous improvement, manage multi-team dependencies, and ensure alignment to enterprise governance and compliance expectations while collaborating with Product Owners, engineering leaders, and stakeholders.
    Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
    Scrum & Agile Delivery Leadership

    Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives

    Coach teams on Scrum values, Agile principles, and maturity growth

    Remove impediments and shield teams from external distractions

    Drive adherence to definitions of ready/done and Agile best practices
    Project Management & Delivery Oversight

    Manage sprint and release planning across complex environments

    Identify, track, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies

    Coordinate cross-team delivery and milestone alignment

    Provide clear, transparent status reporting to leadership
    Product Owner & Stakeholder Partnership

    Ensure backlog prioritization and readiness

    Translate business goals into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria

    Partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment

    Escalate blockers and risks in an appropriate and timely manner
    Metrics, Continuous Improvement & Coaching

    Use velocity, throughput, predictability, and flow metrics to guide productivity

    Facilitate retrospectives with measurable improvement outcomes

    Promote continuous learning and knowledge sharing across teams
    Scaling, Governance & Enterprise Alignment

    Support teams working within scaled Agile environments

    Ensure alignment with enterprise governance, risk, and compliance

    Maintain Agile artifacts and ensure accuracy in enterprise tooling
