  • 7+ years of Data Management, Data Governance, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience
  • Deep experience with data risk, controls, and governance within large enterprise organizations
  • Strong expertise in metadata, lineage, data quality, and data integrity
  • Experience supporting Finance, general ledger data, and regulatory reporting systems
  • Ability to lead highly complex data analysis, remediation planning, and risk identification
  • Ability to collaborate with senior leadership and influence long-term data governance strategy
  • Nice to Have:
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise finance data platforms and financial systems
  • Experience working with regulatory, AML, or compliance reporting
  • Understanding of data governance policy frameworks and audit expectations
  • Experience with data quality tooling, metadata repositories, lineage tools, or DQ remediation workflows
  • Job Summary:

    The Data Management Analyst 5 will serve as a senior subject matter expert supporting Finance Data Management Risk oversight, governance, and policy compliance. This role focuses heavily on general ledger, regulatory reporting systems, and enterprise finance datasets. The consultant will lead complex metadata analysis, identify and remediate data integrity gaps, and ensure effective execution of enterprise Data Management Policy requirements.

    The position requires deep data governance expertise, advanced analytical capability, and the ability to evaluate high-complexity technical and business challenges. The analyst will partner with Data Product, Technology, Data Integrity, and Finance teams to drive long-term, large-scale remediation initiatives aligned with enterprise data strategy.
    Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
    Data Governance & Policy Execution

    Serve as an enterprise SME on data governance, metadata, lineage, and data quality

    Execute and enhance data management controls across finance systems

    Review data management policy requirements and ensure full compliance
    Metadata, Lineage & Data Quality

    Perform complex metadata research and lineage mapping for GL and regulatory systems

    Analyze data quality exceptions, identify root causes, and drive remediation

    Support creation of golden-source mappings and authoritative system documentation
    Risk Identification & Remediation

    Lead highly complex analyses to identify data risks, integrity gaps, control weaknesses, and process defects

    Recommend long-term remediation or design solutions with cross-functional teams

    Advise leadership on strategic data risks and enterprise-level dependencies
    Stakeholder Engagement

    Collaborate with Finance, Technology, Audit, Data Product Owners, and Data Integrity teams

    Influence strategy by converting complex data insights into actionable recommendations

    Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
    Reporting & Analytics

    Create executive summaries and risk assessments for senior leadership

    Provide detailed analytical findings and issue documentation for governance bodies
