Role Details

Position: Data Warehouse / BI Developer 3
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Location: Richmond, VA (Local candidates strongly preferred)
Interview Process: In-Person Only

Key Responsibilities & Required Skills

You will be responsible for end-to-end data mart delivery. The core focus areas include:

Data Profiling (5+ Years): Deep-dive analysis of source systems to determine data quality and extraction logic.
Data Modeling (5+ Years): Designing dimensional models and star schemas using Kimball methodologies.
SQL Server Development (5+ Years): Building and optimizing tables, views, stored procedures, and indexes.
SSIS ETL Development (5+ Years): Building, scheduling, and monitoring robust ETL pipelines.
Source Control (3+ Years): Managing code and database projects using GIT and Visual Studio.
Data Flow Design: Creating detailed mapping documents and technical specifications.
Data Validation: Writing tests to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and business rule alignment.

Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Have)

Dashboarding (3+ Years): Basic visualization experience with Power BI or Tableau.
