Top Requirements:Hands-on experience building Data Lakes in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)Strong experience with data pipelines, data processing, and PySparkExperience with Airflow, APIs, and CI/CD in data engineering environmentsPlusses:Experience with Hadoop/HDFS and big data ecosystemsFamiliarity with columnar formats (Parquet, Avro, ORC) and compression strategiesExperience with streaming architectures (Pub/Sub, event schema design, CDC)Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform architecture (buckets, naming standards, access control)Experience with data modeling and exposure patterns (APIs, views, curated datasets)Job Summary:In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Information Security Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Information Security Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Information Security Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Information Security Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Information Security Engineering.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Design, build, and maintain IAM Data Lake solutions in Google Cloud Platform
- Develop batch and streaming data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform-native tools and PySpark
- Implement and manage workflow orchestration using Airflow
- Work with APIs to integrate and expose data across systems
- Build and optimize data ingestion processes including CDC and incremental data loading
- Design and manage data storage using columnar formats (Parquet, Avro, ORC)
- Ensure proper bucket structuring, lifecycle policies, and access controls within Google Cloud Platform
- Develop CI/CD pipelines to support data engineering workflows
- Collaborate with security and IAM teams to support secure data ingestion and access
- Build curated datasets, views, and data access patterns for downstream consumption
- Implement and maintain streaming architectures using Pub/Sub and event-driven design
- Support data modeling, schema evolution, and versioning best practices
