Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Events GTM to join their team in Mountain View, CA. This contract has a very high chance of extending 12 months after July 31, 2026.

Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager (Contractor) to own the PMM function for our outbound events channel. This is a high-impact, execution-forward role built for a senior marketer who can operate independently - translating strategy into messaging, partnering closely with event execution teams, and driving measurable results across owned and third-party events. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will be the connective tissue between product messaging, audience insights, and event experiences - ensuring every event we participate in is sharp, on-brand, and outcome-driven. Experience in SaaS, ERP, business software, or financial management solutions is strongly preferred, as is fluency in the B2B buyer journey and the ability to articulate complex product value in audience-relevant terms.

Core Responsibilities:
* Develop strategy briefs for in-person and virtual events across owned and third-party formats, defining key messages, content direction, audience insights, outcome-driven messaging, and KPIs that ladder to business goals
* Translate product positioning and messaging playbooks into event-specific themes, session narratives, and audience-relevant value propositions
* Identify and document customer problem statements and pain points to ground event messaging in real buyer needs; Maintain and update audience insight libraries across event formats
* Ensure consistency and relevance of messaging across event tiers, from flagship owned events to third-party sponsorships
* Partner with event strategists and producers to ensure key messages resonate through keynotes, speaker scripts, session descriptions, and promotional communications

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field required
* MBA or Master's degree with a focus on Marketing, Strategy, or Business Administration - particularly valuable for candidates targeting enterprise or C-suite buyer segments preferred
* Equivalent practical experience will be considered in lieu of formal education credentials; A strong portfolio of event strategy briefs, messaging frameworks, and measurable outcomes carries significant weight
* 5-8 years of product marketing experience, with a meaningful portion focused on B2B events GTM
* Demonstrated ability to translate messaging strategies and content playbooks into event-specific themes, sessions, and descriptions with minimal oversight
* Deep background in SaaS, ERP, business software, financial management, or adjacent B2B technology categories
* Strong cross-functional influencer - able to align stakeholders, push back constructively, and build trust with both execution teams and senior leaders
* Data-backed approach to decision-making; comfortable with event metrics, funnel attribution, and deriving actionable insights from performance data
* Excellent written communication skills - able to develop crisp briefs, tight messaging frameworks, and compelling session narratives

What Success Looks Like:
* In the first 30 days, you've immersed yourself in our messaging playbooks, event portfolio, and key audience segments - and have delivered your first event strategy brief independently
* By 90 days, you are the go-to PMM resource for the events channel: briefs are completed ahead of schedule, execution teams are receiving clear and actionable PMM guidance, and you are proactively surfacing optimization recommendations
* At 6 months, you've built a repeatable operating rhythm across the events calendar, established a performance tracking framework, and freed up the PMM events lead to focus on portfolio strategy
