Salary Range: $72,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Drives the successful transition of new products from design to manufacturing.
• Collaborates with R&D and manufacturing teams to optimize product designs for manufacturability.
• Develops and implements manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling for new products.
• Conducts process validation and verification activities to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Identifies and resolves manufacturing challenges during the new product introduction phase.
• Manages timelines and deliverables for NPI projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution.
• Implements continuous improvement initiatives to enhance NPI efficiency and effectiveness.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) or manufacturing engineering within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, SolidWorks Electrical) for schematic capture and PCB layout review.
• Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes, test methodologies, and quality control principles.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, C#) for test automation and data analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to product design and manufacturing.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter).
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python, VBA) for data analysis or automation.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles and their application in manufacturing.
• Certified in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
