Position Overview
Our client is seeking a
Business Analyst to support product development and technology teams across the
Customer Solutions portfolio. This role focuses on translating complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements that enable successful solution delivery. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, collaborative, and experienced working in Agile software delivery environments.
This is a
remote role for candidates residing in Oregon, with minimal in-office expectations (up to two times per year).
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, document, and manage business and technical requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and independent analysis.
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, data mappings, and workflow/process documentation used by development and QA teams.
- Partner closely with product owners, architects, developers, and QA to ensure shared understanding and alignment from concept through delivery.
- Create test cases, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validate that delivered solutions meet defined business objectives.
- Prepare release notes, training materials, and stakeholder communications to support successful deployments and adoption.
Required Qualifications
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and requirements definition skills.
- Experience working in software delivery environments (Agile preferred) in a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders and translate needs into clear, actionable documentation.
- Experience with process mapping, data analysis, workflow design, and functional testing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation and cross-team collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Copilot, generative AI, intelligent automation) to accelerate Business Analyst activities such as documentation, data analysis, requirements validation, or test case creation.
- Industry experience in a regulated field or workers compensation.
