Job Requirements
5+ years of experience in UX Research (corporate or B2B environment preferred)
Monday Friday, 1st shift schedule
Hybrid work arrangement: 2 3 days in office, must be local to Chillicothe area
Must be able to return to full-time in-office work when asked
Disqualifiers: Choppy tenure / job hopping
Disqualifiers: UX designer only (candidate must be a UX researcher, not just a UI/visual designer)
Required Education
B.S. or higher in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, or other UX-related field
Or substitute additional 2 3 years of experience in lieu of degree
Technical Skills (Required)
5+ years of experience with a focus on Empathy (synthesizing stakeholder and user sentiment, listening with openness to learn)
5+ years with focus on Adaptive Thinking (quickly pivoting with changing requirements, seeing challenges as learning opportunities)
Thorough understanding of UI best practices and essential graphic design theory
Proficiency in UI layout, spec, and prototyping tools
Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
Portfolio demonstrating expertise and ability to articulate your process
Note: No explicit ergonomics or HMI research requirement
Technical Skills (Desired)

Job Responsibilities
Translate research and test findings into actionable, prioritized recommendations for UI designs
Clarify user, customer, and business needs and translate into concepts for compelling interactions and user experience
Understand research methodologies and have experience facilitating research
Integrate user research into product designs and design practices
Communicate with designers on prototype requirements to test and iterate
Document key goals, themes, elements, and behaviors that must be implemented by downstream UI teams
Create shareable UX artifacts based on the team's research and activities (such as journey maps, storyboards, and user flows)
Document the overall UX strategy (UI, physical attributes, guiding principles, and more) that will be leveraged across all downstream partners
Prioritize research needs/backlog based on product roadmap
