Location: Charlotte, NC / Des Moines, IA / Dallas, TX (Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 remote)

Pay Rate: $46 - $49
Top Requirements:4+ years of Analytics experienceStrong expertise in Microsoft Power BI (performance tuning, capacity metrics, troubleshooting)Experience with Power Query (M), data modeling, and diagnosing performance issuesPlusses:Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Notebooks, Data Pipelines, Direct Lake)Knowledge of Power BI Gateway architecture and troubleshooting connectivity issuesExperience with SSRS / Paginated Reports optimizationFamiliarity with DAX Studio for advanced diagnosticsAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams (DBAs, platform teams, vendors)Job Summary:In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Analytics and contribute to large-scale planning related to Analytics deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Analytics challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Analytics deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Analytics.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Manage and resolve enterprise BI support tickets through the CASE system (primarily Power BI-related)
- Troubleshoot issues including:
- Power BI Gateway connectivity
- Dataset and report access issues
- Capacity and performance constraints
- Database connectivity failures
- Report design and implementation challenges
- High system capacity usage and performance bottlenecks
- Analyze semantic models and reporting structures to improve efficiency and performance
- Identify root causes of slow report loads and high compute usage (CU consumption)
- Provide best practice recommendations for scalable and optimized reporting solutions
- Collaborate with Power BI Platform teams, DBAs, and Microsoft vendor support
- Meet with stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements
- Act as a technical consultant to recommend and implement solutions across systems and teams
