Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Location: Mountain View, CA (Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite/Week)
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Work Schedule: 35 Hours/Week
Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor

Job Summary

We are seeking highly experienced Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with deep industry expertise to support research and business initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in their respective domain, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to review, evaluate, and interpret complex industry-specific information.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise within your area of specialization.

• Review, analyze, and validate domain-specific information for accuracy and completeness.

• Evaluate research findings and provide expert recommendations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project objectives.

• Interpret complex industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

• Prepare clear documentation, reports, and recommendations.

• Participate in discussions and provide insights to improve project outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''''s, Master''''s, or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.

• 10+ years of professional experience in one or more of the listed domains.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to review, synthesize, and explain complex technical or business information.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

• Must be able to work onsite in Mountain View, CA, two days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting research, consulting, compliance, or strategic initiatives.

• Strong documentation and presentation skills.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a professional environment.
