Summary

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finance Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide deep domain expertise in financial processes, accounting principles, regulatory compliance, and enterprise finance operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with finance organizations and be capable of reviewing business requirements, validating financial workflows, and providing expert guidance to support business initiatives, process improvements, and AI/data annotation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Finance Subject Matter Expert for business and technical teams.
  • Review, validate, and provide guidance on financial documents, reports, and business processes.
  • Analyze complex finance scenarios and provide accurate domain-specific recommendations.
  • Support projects involving financial operations, accounting, auditing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Interpret and explain financial concepts, policies, and regulations.
  • Validate finance-related content, business rules, and process documentation.
  • Participate in workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement gathering sessions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to GAAP, SOX, and other applicable financial regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Corporate Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Treasury, Audit, or related domains.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Financial Accounting
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Budgeting & Forecasting
    • Financial Reporting
    • Cost Accounting
    • Taxation
    • Internal Controls
    • Financial Analysis
  • Excellent understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial governance.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to explain complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA, CMA, CFA, or MBA (Finance) preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle Financials, NetSuite, Workday Financials, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation, automation, AI/ML initiatives, or finance process optimization.
  • Experience in Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Manufacturing, or Enterprise Finance environments.
