Location: Laurel, MD (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite required)
Pay: Up to $55/hr (W2)
Role Overview:Seeking a senior-level Microsoft Intune Engineer to lead endpoint modernization, including a full migration from Ivanti to Microsoft Intune. This role serves as the Intune subject matter expert, driving strategy, prioritization, and execution while partnering with a project manager and internal IT teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Ivanti to Microsoft Intune migration (strategy, planning, execution)
- Own endpoint imaging, deployment, patching, and lifecycle management
- Design and manage Intune policies, profiles, and application deployments
- Support endpoint security using Microsoft Defender
- Prioritize endpoint initiatives and migration phases
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure, security, and support teams
Required Skills (Must-Have):- Strong hands-on Microsoft Intune administration (enterprise environment)
- Endpoint management, imaging, and workstation deployment experience
- Experience leading technical decision-making for endpoint platforms
- Knowledge of endpoint patching and device lifecycle management
- Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint experience
- Experience replacing or migrating legacy endpoint management tools (e.g., Ivanti)
- Modern Device Management (MDM) or cloud-first endpoint environments
- Large-scale endpoint migration or modernization projects
Work Environment:- Hybrid enterprise IT environment
- Cross-functional collaboration with infrastructure, security, and end-user support teams
