Job Description
We are seeking a SAP BRIM SOM Functional Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP BRIM Subscription Order Management, Order-to-Cash, and S/4HANA integrations and a proven ability to design and deliver scalable subscription and usage-based billing solutions that modernize processes and user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage technical expertise and industry best practices to recommend solutions within SAP BRIM SOM.
- Support and interface with SAP SOM processes including master data, solution quotes, orders, contracts, and product modeling across BRIM/Hybris Billing.
- Engage with IT delivery partners, prioritize issues, manage monitoring queues, and track team outputs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Apply deep Order Management domain knowledge to drive change management and technology adoption.
- Analyze cross-functional and complex business requirements and translate them into solution designs.
- Design complex cross-functional solutions and partner with delivery teams for build and deployment.
- Guide and mentor team members and provide functional leadership.
- Consult with stakeholders, customers, and vendors on complex issues and solution trade-offs.
- Stay current with leading practices in Sales & Distribution and maintain professional networks.
- Follow departmental and company procedures for change control, security, auditing, release, configuration, problem, and incident management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 8+ years as an SAP functional expert in SOM and/or SD/CS.
- 3+ years implementing SAP BRIM/Hybris Billing with hands-on configuration and design.
- 4+ years crafting, developing, or maintaining scalable and resilient SaaS solutions.
- Strong SAP SOM and Order-to-Cash expertise, including specific OTC flows on SAP platforms.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Subscription Order Management or SAP CRM SOM.
- Understanding of SAP BRIM features and configuration, including integration to external applications such as e-commerce.
- Ability to apply SAP Activate, conduct gap analysis, and drive business adoption.
- Certifications in SAP SOM and CRM preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing, and Convergent Mediation.
- Product configuration with Advanced Variant Configuration and BRF+.
- Cross Catalog Mapping and SAP S/4HANA BRIM configuration experience.
- Knowledge of CI processes including billable item management, billing, and invoicing integrations.
- SAP SD and Finance exposure.
