ETL Developer

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Role Overview

We are seeking an ETL Developer to join our team. The candidate will work on Teradata/ETL technology associated with application initiatives. This role involves refining the data model for customer and account data by sourcing, developing, and managing future enhancements. The position requires collaboration with team leads and both onsite and offshore team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and clarify reporting needs.
• Analyze data sources, data structures, and business rules to support reporting.
• Design, develop, and optimize Teradata SQL and BTEQ scripts.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT logic within Teradata.
• Create and manage tables, views, macros, and stored procedures.
• Tune queries for performance, including AMP usage, indexing, and partitioning.
• Support production jobs and troubleshoot data issues.
• Conduct detailed validation and functional testing of reports against requirements.
• Perform root-cause analysis for discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
• Prepare deployment packages and follow change management processes.
• Publish and schedule reports in the production environment.
• Ensure proper access controls, documentation, and post-deployment validation.

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated pay range for this position is $60.00 per hour to $65.06 per hour. Please note that the pay rate may vary based on factors including the candidate's experience, skills, and the specific work location.
