We are seeking a Senior Oracle Data Warehouse Developer to design, build, and optimize enterprise-scale data integration and analytics solutions. This role requires deep Oracle database expertise, including SQL/PL/SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization, along with hands-on experience with Apache NiFi, Python, and Informatica.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines across Apache NiFi, Informatica, and Python to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Implement orchestration, scheduling, parameterization, and dependency management; automate error handling, retries, and observability.
- Build reusable pipeline components and performance-optimized SQL/PL/SQL procedures, packages, and functions.
- Conduct query tuning, table/index design, and workload optimization on large-scale Oracle environments.
- Implement robust data validation frameworks, including row-count, referential integrity, and reconciliation.
- Ensure environments and pipelines meet service-level agreements, scalability, and cost-efficiency targets.
- Partner with analysts, data scientists, and product teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes using Git, including branching strategies, code review, and automated deployment.
- Mentor junior developers and promote best practices, standards, and design patterns.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 8+ years of experience in data warehouse development with a strong Oracle database background.
Technical Skills:- Expert-level development of taskflow and mappings in IDMC.
- Expert-level SQL and PL/SQL with deep knowledge of partitioning, indexing strategies, optimizer behavior, statistics, execution plans, and parallel processing.
- Hands-on experience building production pipelines with Apache NiFi.
- Solid Python skills for data transformations, file/API integrations, and utility automation.
- Proficiency with Linux/Unix, shell scripting, and job scheduling on Autosys.
- Strong understanding of enterprise SDLC practices, Git-based workflows, code reviews, and release management.
Education:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle Exadata, SQL*Loader, and bulk load strategies.
- Familiarity with Databricks or Snowflake.
- Knowledge of data governance and catalog tools such as Collibra or Alation.
- Understanding of security, privacy, and compliance controls like encryption and masking.
- Relevant certifications in Oracle, Informatica, NiFi, or cloud platforms.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $60.00 and $65.06 per hour.
