Job#: 3031596 Job Description: Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Onsite)

Role Overview
This position involves building a new application from the ground up, including the creation of a rule engine for user-defined business rules. The role requires contributing to enterprise project deliveries within a financial institution and working closely with front-end developers. The candidate will operate in an agile environment, adapting to changing requirements while working independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, and Triggers in Oracle 19c/21c.
- Optimize performance by tuning SQL and PL/SQL code.
- Develop database utilities for large-scale databases.
- Maintain reusable development standards for new solutions and system enhancements.
- Design solution approaches for large-scale enterprise systems.
- Provide code reviews and mentor across multiple agile teams.
- Read code in multiple languages and inspect infrastructure to understand the current state before implementing changes.
- Participate in the agile process, including JIRA story grooming and execution.
- Translate client requirements into design and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience is required, with a proven track record in implementing large Oracle databases.
Technical Skills:- Strong experience with Oracle packages, procedures, functions, and analytics functions.
- Proficiency in performance tuning of SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience migrating to CI/CD with platforms such as BitBucket or Artifactory.
- Experience with Oracle Exadata.
- Python experience.
Professional Skills:- Strong facilitation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to learn business processes and apply that knowledge to assigned tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with object databases and other relational databases.
- Experience working with front-end developers.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $60.00 to $65.06 per hour. Please note that the final pay rate will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and location. A benefits package may be available to eligible employees.
