• The candidate will be responsible for performing system inventory, dependency mapping, and impact analysis across integrated systems. Duties include data extraction, archival and/or migration in accordance with retention policies, along with data validation and reconciliation.
• The consultant will identify and decommission or redirect interfaces, APIs, and batch processes, and retire application services, database instances, middleware, and supporting infrastructure. This includes handling third-party components, access removal, and service termination.
• The role also requires development of decommissioning plans, runbooks, and validation documentation, and execution of testing and controlled system shutdown in coordination with stakeholders.
• The candidate will decommission a Java-based application, including associated services, databases, and infrastructure.
• Responsibilities include system inventory, dependency mapping, and impact analysis across integrations.
• The candidate will decommission application code, APIs, and batch processes, and perform data extraction, archival, and/or migration per retention policies, with validation to ensure data integrity.
• All application services, middleware, infrastructure, and third-party components must be retired in a controlled manner.

Minimum of 4 years experience with writing application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions; environments include but are not limited to mainframe, mid-range, personal computers, laptop; available to assist and/or lead in the design of program specifications and the implementation of software solutions.

• Must have strong experience in C# for backend development, including writing clean, maintainable, and performant code.
• Proven experience in ASP.NET MVC for building scalable, maintainable web applications.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with .NET Core for building robust, high-performance, cross-platform applications.
• Experience in implementing user authentication and authorization, including OAuth, JWT (JSON Web Tokens), and role-based access control (RBAC) in a web application.
• Proficiency in using Git for version control and collaboration in a team-based environment.
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
