JDE Development and Security lead

Our client is seeking an ERP Development & Security Lead, to lead a cross-functional technical team and deliver secure, scalable JD Edwards EnterpriseOne solutions. You’ll combine hands-on technical execution with people leadership, strengthening ERP security governance, enabling integrations and automation, and helping modernize business processes through digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business, functional analysts, developers and architects to continuously improve application development documentation, processes, and best practices.
• Participate directly in solution design, orchestrations, integrations, development, troubleshooting, and technical delivery.
• Oversee JD Edwards security models, role-based access, SOD controls, and audit readiness.
• Drive automation, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives across ERP processes.
• Support evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies to ensure the team is future-ready.
• Oversee development work including orchestrations, integrations, custom code, and workflow automation.
• Build and support integrations using RESTful APIs (calling external APIs, handling authentication, and troubleshooting REST connections).
• Review and enforce high-quality technical specifications, solution designs, mapping logic, and documentation.
• Support ReportsNow DAS reporting, ensuring optimized report logic and data integrity.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders and IT leadership to ensure solutions meet operational and strategic goals.
• Lead technical planning, estimates, resource coordination, and delivery for ERP projects.

Requirements:

Experience:

• 10+ years of hands-on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne experience across security, orchestrations, integrations, and development.
• Experience providing leadership while contributing to hands-on technical solution delivery.
• Demonstrated experience with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and DevOps methodologies is required.
• Experience driving automation, digital transformation, and modernization initiatives.
• Proficiency with ReportsNow Data Access Studio (DAS) for reporting, dashboards, and data extraction.
• Strong experience producing and reviewing technical specifications, design documents, and architecture artifacts.
• Strong communication and ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
