Role Overview

The Director, Public Affairs and Communication Services Digital Services, Japan plays a critical role in advancingCoca-Cola'sdigital transformation by delivering innovative,data-drivensolutions acrossthepublic affairs and communication services. This role bridges digital capabilities with business priorities in Japan, ensuring that digital products and platforms enhance stakeholder engagement, strengthen brand reputation, and enable responsive,insight-leddecision making. Operating within aproduct-centricdigital model, this leader partners closely with business stakeholders, global digital teams, and regional leaders to translate transformation priorities into scalable digital solutions. The role focuses on embedding data, automation, and artificial intelligenceintocommunications workflows, driving measurable improvements in customer experience, operational efficiency, and enterprise reputation management. This position requires strongcross-functionalcollaboration, an ability tooperatewithin a matrixed global environment, and a deep understanding of how digital capabilities can enable modern communication ecosystems and customer engagement strategies in a complex market like Japan.

What You will do for us
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of digital productsand frameworkssupportingreputationand public affairs and communication services, aligned with enterprise digital transformation priorities
  • Translate business needs into digital solutions by partnering with commercial, public affairs, and communication teams to enabledata-drivenengagement strategies
  • Embed data, analytics, and artificial intelligence into communication processes to enhance responsiveness, personalization, and insight generation
  • Drive adoption of digital platforms and tools, ensuring consistent usage and measurable business outcomes across stakeholder groups
  • Collaborate with global and regional digital teams to alignJapan-specificsolutions with enterprise architecture, standards, and product strategies
  • Champion aproduct-centricoperating model by prioritizing user needs, continuous improvement, and measurable value delivery.
  • Enable integration ofreputation research,customer feedback, social listening, and communication analytics intodecision-makingframeworks
  • Identifyopportunities to automate workflows and streamline operations to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
  • Manage vendor and partner ecosystems to deliverhigh-qualitydigital capabilities that align with enterprise standards
  • Support change management and capability building to increase digital fluency across communication teams
  • Collect, interpret, and communicate local reputation performance, converting intelligence into actionable insights, strategies, and tactics
  • Quantify the impact of PACS communications campaigns and initiatives in collaboration with internal and external partners
  • Refine our global corporate reputation framework, ensuring local attributes and data points are accounted for within the questionnaire
  • Design and oversee ad hoc research based on macro events, campaigns, or issues, collaborating with Human Insights and other Enterprise Intelligence teams as needed
  • Design and develop visualizations and dashboards to support the needs of stakeholders and partners

Requirements and Qualifications Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in digital product management, digital transformation, or technology delivery within customer engagement or communications domains
  • Demonstrated experience delivering digital platforms or solutions that support public affairs, or communications functions
  • Strong understanding of data and analytics concepts, including the application of artificial intelligence and automation in business processes
  • Experience working in aproduct-centricoperating model, with a focus onuser-centricdesign and continuous delivery
  • Proven ability to partner with business stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into digital solutions with measurable outcomes
  • Experienceoperatingin a global, matrixed organization with alignment to enterprise standards and governance
  • Strong communicationand stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels
  • Familiarity with regulatory, cultural, and market dynamics in Japan, particularly as they relate to communication and customer engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to manage external vendors and drive delivery accountability
  • Commitment to continuous learning, digital innovation, and building inclusive, collaborative environments
  • Data Storytelling: Ability to communicate complex data and insights through clear, compelling narratives
