Job Description
Talent Groups is seeking an experienced PMO Leader to establish and lead an enterprise Project Management Office supporting large scale, strategic initiatives across a global, operations driven organization. This role is responsible for driving governance, prioritization, and execution of complex programs spanning technology, operations, and customer experience.
This is a highly visible leadership role requiring strong program delivery experience, executive communication skills, and the ability to operate in a fast paced, cross functional environment.
Key Responsibilities
PMO Strategy and Governance
- Design and lead enterprise PMO governance, standards, and project lifecycle frameworks
- Establish portfolio level reporting, KPIs, financial tracking, and executive dashboards
- Develop scalable playbooks to support complex, multi workstream initiatives
Portfolio and Program Leadership
- Oversee a portfolio of strategic initiatives including digital transformation, operational improvements, and large scale deployment programs
- Drive prioritization aligned to business objectives, growth, and operational efficiency
- Lead resource planning, capacity management, and financial forecasting
Cross Functional Alignment
- Partner with technology, operations, product, supply chain, HR, and commercial teams to ensure successful program execution
- Coordinate across distributed teams and environments with complex dependencies
- Ensure initiatives are delivered with minimal disruption to business operations
Leadership and Team Development
- Build and lead a high performing PMO team including program managers, project managers, and analysts
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and execution excellence
- Mentor and develop team members while elevating project delivery standards
Risk Management and Delivery Excellence
- Establish risk management frameworks and ensure proactive identification and mitigation of issues
- Drive continuous improvement across PMO processes, tools, and reporting
- Ensure high quality, consistent delivery across all programs
Executive Communication
- Provide clear and actionable updates to senior leadership on portfolio health, risks, and priorities
- Lead steering committees and executive reviews
- Influence decision making across stakeholders in a matrixed organization
Required Experience
- 10+ years of program or project management experience in large scale, complex environments
- 5+ years leading a PMO or enterprise level portfolio
- Strong experience with PMO frameworks including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models
- Proven ability to manage large, cross functional programs with measurable outcomes
- Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality, travel, transportation, or other operationally complex industries
- Experience supporting large scale transformation initiatives or global deployments
- PMP or similar certification preferred
