DoD IAT Level II certification required (Security+, CySA+, CCNA-Security, or equivalent)
One or more cloud certifications required (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform)
Minimum 8 years of experience supporting cloud systems testing, automation, or validation

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Azure Test Automation Engineer to support cloud application verification and validation activities within an enterprise Azure architecture environment.
This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, performance, and functionality of cloud-based systems through structured testing, validation, and systems analysis. The engineer will work closely with cloud architects and development teams to validate system performance and ensure systems meet federal mission requirements.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in cloud testing, automation frameworks, and system validation within Azure environments, along with a solid understanding of cloud system performance and configuration management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cloud systems verification and validation activities across Azure-based infrastructure and applications
  • Execute functional testing and automated testing processes to ensure system reliability and performance
  • Conduct timeline analysis, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies for hardware and software systems
  • Identify opportunities to improve testing frameworks, processes, and automation tools using metrics and operational trends
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of system functionality, performance, and configuration issues
  • Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to ensure cloud systems meet operational and security requirements
  • Assist in the development and improvement of cloud testing methodologies and automation frameworks


Required Qualifications
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience supporting cloud systems testing, automation, or validation
  • Experience supporting cloud-based application testing and validation
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture and system performance monitoring


Certifications
  • DoD IAT Level II certification required (Security+, CySA+, CCNA-Security, or equivalent)
  • One or more cloud certifications required (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform)


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within Azure cloud architecture environments
  • Experience supporting federal or DoD cloud programs
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and DevOps pipelines
  • Experience analyzing system metrics to improve performance and operational processes
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
