Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior SQL Developer / Database Developer with strong expertise in SQL programming, database development, performance tuning, and data integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and database objects while ensuring optimal performance, data accuracy, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and database objects.
- Translate business requirements into efficient, scalable, and reliable database solutions.
- Perform query optimization, database performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Support ETL processes, data integration, and data validation activities.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, consistency, and reliability through testing and quality checks.
- Develop and maintain data models and database schemas to support business requirements.
- Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and other technical teams.
- Identify and resolve database-related issues and implement performance improvements.
- Provide regular updates on task progress, technical risks, and issue resolution.
- Follow Agile development methodologies and established coding standards.
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Strong experience in Advanced SQL Programming.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and/or PostgreSQL.
- Expertise in stored procedures, functions, complex queries, and database objects.
- Strong knowledge of Performance Tuning and Query Optimization.
- Experience in Data Modeling and Database Design.
- Experience supporting ETL processes and Data Integration.
- Knowledge of data validation, data quality, and database integrity.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and improve query performance.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
