Product Owner II

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner for a long-term contract position asking for a 3 day/wk hybrid schedule onsite in Denver, CO. Our client is a large, highly regulated financial organization undergoing a major customer-facing portal migration. This role is ideal for a Product Owner who enjoys complex problem-solving, data-heavy work, and partnering closely with engineering teams to deliver meaningful customer outcomes.
This is a migration-focused role, not net-new development. The work centers on moving customers, permissions, and data from legacy platforms into a modern, customized portal environment.

What you'll be doing

• Partner with Product Managers to execute roadmap delivery
• Translate epics and features into detailed user stories in Azure DevOps
• Support PI planning, sprint execution, backlog prioritization, and testing
• Drive customer and data migration efforts including mapping and validation
• Collaborate closely with engineers, data teams, and UX
• Analyze customer feedback and identify migration risks or gaps

What I'm looking for

• 3-5 years of Product Owner experience
• SAFe Agile and PI Planning experience
• Strong experience in application or data migration
• Experience with customer portals, permissions, or login structures
• Comfortable understanding technical details independently
• Tools: Azure DevOps, Microsoft Suite; ServiceNow helpful
• Salesforce / CRM exposure is a plus

Logistics

• 6-month contract with strong extension potential (up to ~18 months)
• 40 hrs/week, no overtime
• Hybrid onsite Tuesday-Thursday
• Local Denver-area candidates only

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $63.00/hr.
