The ideal candidate is an experienced communicator who can translate complex technical and operational initiatives—such as EHR implementations, healthcare revenue cycle modernization, and system configuration updates—into clear, engaging, and visually compelling communication products for diverse audiences including senior leadership, operational teams, and healthcare stakeholders.

This role will be responsible for developing communication strategies, creating executive-level presentation materials, producing multi-channel communication products, and coordinating messaging across program workstreams to ensure transparency, alignment, and adoption throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Communication Strategy & Program Messaging

• Develop and execute communication strategies supporting enterprise healthcare modernization initiatives
• Translate complex revenue cycle and system modernization concepts into clear messaging for diverse stakeholders
• Maintain program communication plans including audience segmentation, communication channels, timelines, governance, and success metrics
• Ensure communication efforts align with program goals and stakeholder engagement strategies

Executive Communications & Leadership Briefings

• Develop high-impact presentations, executive briefings, and leadership communications for senior stakeholders
• Prepare talking points, scripts, and supporting materials for executive engagements and program updates
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and strategic alignment in messaging
• Support executive communications for governance boards, steering committees, and leadership briefings

Multi-Channel Communication Development

• Produce communication materials across multiple formats including:
• Executive presentations and leadership briefings
• Program newsletters and updates
• SharePoint and internal web content
• Infographics, one-pagers, and fact sheets
• Change management and training communications
• Ensure all communication products align with branding standards and accessibility requirements (Section 508)

Stakeholder Engagement & Program Coordination

• Partner with PMO teams, revenue cycle SMEs, and technical teams to gather accurate project information
• Coordinate communication activities across workstreams to ensure consistent messaging and program visibility
• Support stakeholder communications related to major releases, milestones, and transformation initiatives

Communication Governance & Reporting

• Maintain communication calendars, distribution lists, and publication schedules
• Develop templates, communication standards, and style guides for program communications
• Track engagement metrics and refine communication strategies to improve reach and effectiveness

Change Management Support

• Develop communications supporting system updates, workflow changes, and new capabilities
• Collaborate with training and operations teams to support adoption of new processes and technologies

Required Skills/Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Affairs, Marketing, Business, Public Administration, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, consulting, communications, or PMO support environments
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
• Proven experience developing executive-level presentations and leadership communication materials
• Experience creating multi-format communication products including digital, visual, and written content
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, as well as SharePoint and collaboration platforms
• Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate across technical, operational, and leadership teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced program environment
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting federal programs, DoD organizations, or large government modernization initiatives
• Familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle operations including registration, coding, billing, and reimbursement
• Experience communicating about EHR implementations such as MHS GENESIS or Oracle Health
• Experience supporting enterprise IT modernization or digital transformation programs
