We are looking for a SGS-Service Center Representative - Remote / Telecommute for our client in Bethesda, MD
Job Title: SGS-Service Center Representative - Remote / Telecommute
Job Location: Bethesda, MD
Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
Pay Range: $13hr - $18hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service and claims processing experience or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and claims management processes.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer systems.

Experience:

  • Experience in a call center environment (preferred).
  • Experience handling inbound calls and resolving customer inquiries.
  • Experience working with claims management systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison for callers, addressing inquiries related to claims and servicing processes.
  • Educate customers on documentation requirements, claim timelines, payment details, and claim status.
  • Document all interactions accurately and professionally in the claims management system.
  • Enter verbal and written application data accurately into internal systems.
  • Assign new claims to appropriate handlers and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Direct calls to appropriate departments or escalate to specialists/management.
  • Support quality programs and ensure compliance with client specifications.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and performance standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Should Have:

  • College-level coursework (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and interpretive abilities.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, multi-system environment.
  • Ability to work on camera when required.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
