Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Performance Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SEM, paid social, programmatic, and multi-channel performance media and a proven ability to drive efficient growth through rigorous QA, experimentation, and data-informed optimization.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for agency partner(s) across paid search, video, social, and programmatic. Set expectations, define priorities, uphold SLAs, and surface performance gaps proactively.

  • Own rigorous QA of all agency output, including campaign builds, keywords, bid strategies, audiences, ad copy, tracking and tagging, and budget pacing before launch.

  • Review creative assets against platform specifications and safe zones to ensure pixel-accurate execution prior to go-live.

  • Enforce strict naming conventions across campaigns, ad groups, creatives, and UTMs to maintain navigable and audit-ready accounts.

  • Maintain disciplined operating cadence. Keep taxonomy, documentation, and folders organized. Execute preflight checks for every launch.

  • Own paid search strategy across Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max), Microsoft Ads, and related SEM platforms. Define keyword architecture, match types, bidding frameworks, and budgets.

  • Own paid social strategy across Meta, Reddit, X, TikTok, and other channels with focus on efficient growth and channel fit.

  • Lead an experimentation roadmap across ads, bidding, audiences, and landing pages. Ensure sound test design and documentation of learnings.

  • Manage and optimize significant monthly budgets toward CPA, ROAS, LTV/CAC, and payback targets while supporting growth goals.

  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards and performance frameworks to support timely decisions.

  • Deliver clear status updates, performance insights, and risk flags to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.

  • Translate complex performance data into actionable recommendations for product marketing and growth partners.

  • Oversee programmatic campaigns in DSPs such as The Trade Desk and DV360, including audience, contextual, and retargeting strategies.

  • Source, negotiate, and manage direct media buys with newsletters, industry publications, and niche developer-focused sites.

  • Identify and test emerging channels and partnerships outside core social and search platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree minimum.

  • 5-8 years of performance marketing experience with deep SEM expertise across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and SA360.

  • Agency background strongly preferred with experience managing multiple clients and channels.

  • Proven ability to manage and QA agency partners while maintaining high standards and clear feedback loops.

  • Demonstrated ownership of significant paid media budgets with measurable outcomes and efficient allocation.

  • Strong analytical skills with tools such as Google Analytics, Looker, or Tableau. Comfort with attribution modeling and optimization strategy.

  • Hands-on experience with A/B and multivariate testing across ads, landing pages, audiences, and bidding.

  • Meticulous attention to detail with disciplined QA, naming conventions, and documentation practices.

  • Proactive communication style with consistent stakeholder updates and solution-oriented mindset.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience marketing to developer or technical audiences.

  • Knowledge of MMPs and mobile attribution platforms such as Singular, AppsFlyer, or Adjust.
