Job ID: 176218 Pay Range: Negotiable based on experience Job Overview: The Workday Administrator will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of testing processes across all Workday modules. This position requires hands-on expertise in functional, regression, and integration testing, as well as leadership in test planning, defect management, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Workday HCM and related modules, with a focus on delivering high-quality testing outcomes and maintaining robust test assets.
Responsibilities: - Execute end-to-end functional, regression, and integration testing across Workday modules, including Core HCM, Benefits, Absence Management, Time Tracking, Payroll-related interfaces, Security, and Business Process changes.
- Validate Workday configuration updates and identify downstream impacts for testing.
- Perform smoke testing and targeted regression testing for BAU releases and break/fix items.
- Develop and maintain BAU test strategies, test plans, and execution schedules aligned to release timelines.
- Identify impacted business processes and define comprehensive test scenarios and regression coverage.
- Log, track, and manage testing work and defects using Digital.ai as the system of record.
- Triage issues, document reproduction steps, and partner with Workday analysts/configurators for resolution.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by partnering with HR functional owners and SMEs.
- Build and maintain reusable test scripts, test cases, and regression packs to improve testing efficiency.
- Ensure testing practices align with change management, audit, and internal control expectations.
Qualifications: - 5+ years of QA/testing experience, with hands-on testing in Workday HCM.
- Experience executing testing across multiple Workday modules.
- Proven ability to operate as a hands-on Test Lead.
- Strong understanding of Workday business processes, configuration dependencies, and integration touchpoints.
- Experience creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, regression suites, and test evidence.
- Experience using Digital.ai (or similar tools) for tracking and managing testing work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience supporting Workday release cycles, including semi-annual updates.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, or ServiceNow.
- Experience working in regulated or highly controlled environments.
- Prior experience supporting organizations undergoing acquisitions or large-scale change.

- Well-maintained regression test assets that reduce risk and improve speed over time.
- Clear, documented release readiness recommendations for each deployment.
- Effective defect management with timely resolution and minimal production incidents.
- Reliable BAU testing execution while acquisition initiatives proceed in parallel.
