Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Business Analyst with a strong focus on requirements gathering . The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to identify, define, and document system and process requirements . You will ensure that RCM systems and workflows align with financial goals, compliance standards, and operational efficiency .

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Act as a primary liaison between billing, finance, and IT teams to capture detailed business requirements .
Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to identify pain points and opportunities within the revenue cycle .
Documentation: Develop use cases, user stories, and maintain a detailed requirements traceability matrix .
Workflow Mapping: Analyze and map current and future state processes using process flow diagrams to align with business objectives .
Technical Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to translate requirements into functional specifications .
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Develop test cases and coordinate UAT efforts to ensure deliverables meet business needs .
Training & Support: Collaborate with training teams to develop materials and provide ongoing support to RCM teams for successful system adoption .

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field .
Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in healthcare, specifically within the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) domain .
Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of billing, coding, insurance claims, and reimbursement methodologies .
Technical Skills: Proficiency in creating use cases, user stories, and business process models .
Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to translate technical info into business-friendly terms .
Tools: Familiarity with RCM software and Business Process Management (BPM) tools is a plus .
