Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Retail L2 Application Support Engineer to provide production support for critical retail systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle Retail modules including RMS, ReSA, ReIM, and RPM, along with hands-on experience in monitoring batch jobs, integrations, and data flows. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, SQL/PLSQL expertise, and the ability to ensure smooth business operations in a high-availability environment.

Key Responsibilities
Provide L2 application support for Oracle Retail systems, ensuring high availability and performance
Monitor and manage batch jobs, interfaces, and data pipelines, ensuring timely resolution of failures
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Oracle Retail modules:
Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS)
Oracle Retail Invoice Matching (ReIM)
Oracle Retail Sales Audit (ReSA)
Oracle Retail Price Management (RPM)
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and implement preventive solutions
Support integration flows and ensure data consistency across systems
Work closely with L1/L3 teams, business users, and technical teams for issue resolution
Maintain incident, problem, and change records in ITSM tools
Ensure adherence to SLA timelines and operational procedures
Provide on-call and shift-based support as required
Prepare and maintain support documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Oracle Retail Application Support (L2)
Strong experience with Oracle Retail modules:
RMS (Retail Merchandising System)
ReSA (Retail Sales Audit)
ReIM (Retail Invoice Matching)
RPM (Retail Price Management)
Hands-on experience in batch job monitoring, scheduling, and failure resolution
Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting
Experience with Databricks and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
Knowledge of data flows, integrations, and retail business processes
Experience working in production support environments with SLAs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in retail domain and merchandising processes
Familiarity with ITIL processes and ITSM tools (ServiceNow, etc.)
Experience with automation and monitoring tools
Exposure to cloud-based data platforms
