SAP Techno-Functional Consultant (100% Remote)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Techno-Functional Consultant to support the configuration, customization, and integration of SAP solutions across key business processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional knowledge of core SAP modules along with hands-on technical expertise in ABAP and related technologies. This role plays a critical part in bridging business requirements with technical implementation, ensuring scalable and efficient SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Expertise

- Configure SAP modules to align with business processes such as Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C).

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.

- Optimize system design by leveraging standard SAP functionality while minimizing custom development.

Technical Development

- Develop and enhance SAP solutions using ABAP.

- Implement enhancement spots, user exits, BAPIs, RFCs, and IDocs.

- Create custom reports, forms, and enhancements beyond standard SAP capabilities.

Integration & System Support

- Manage complex integrations between SAP modules and external systems.

- Troubleshoot IDocs and monitor system interfaces.

- Analyze production issues, review job logs, and provide timely resolution.

System Customization & Optimization

- Design and implement system enhancements to improve operational efficiency.

- Support SAP Fiori and SAP BTP initiatives where applicable.

- Ensure high performance, scalability, and compliance with best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Functional Knowledge

- Strong expertise in one or more SAP functional modules:

- FI (Financial Accounting)

- CO (Controlling)

- SD (Sales & Distribution)

- MM (Materials Management)

- PP (Production Planning)

Technical Skills

- Proficiency in ABAP development

- Experience with BAPI, RFC, and IDoc integration

- Knowledge of Enhancement Spots and user exits

- Exposure to SAP Fiori and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)

Core Competencies

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues
