Work Environment
This role requires extensive territory coverage across Michigan''s Upper Peninsula, involving regular face-to-face client interactions, relationship building, and sales strategy. You''ll work independently with full autonomy while maintaining strong collaboration with team members, balancing strategic account development with comprehensive service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct face-to-face sales calls establishing and maintaining relationships
  • Partner with doctors, hospitals, sleep labs, wound clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and home health agencies
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas
  • Continually educate clients on services, equipment, and medications
  • Market offerings to new prospects
  • Discuss patient care respectfully and confidentially
  • Build and maintain solid relationships with internal and external customers
Qualifications
Required:
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver''s license with clean driving record
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with proven sales potential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Comfort discussing patient care respectfully and confidentially
Preferred:
  • Experience in respiratory or medical sales
  • Background in oxygen, CPAP, ventilators, wound care, or diabetic supplies
  • DME (Durable Medical Equipment) sales experience
  • Leadership experience
  • Ability to simplify complex topics and build trust
Physical Demands
  • Lift and carry office equipment
  • Requires sitting, walking, standing
  • Talking and listening
  • Close vision for computer/tablet work
  • Understanding of home medical equipment
  • Comfortable using office equipment
