Summary

Job Title: Data Migration Field Support Technician Location: Boise, ID (100% Onsite) 
Position Summary
Responsible for data migration, hardware deployment, and end-user IT support . Role includes migrating emails/documents to a centralized Microsoft 365 tenant, device setup, and onsite technical support.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform data migration (emails, documents) to M365 (Outlook, OneDrive)
  • Deploy and support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software
  • Provide end-user support and resolve technical issues
  • Support Microsoft 365 onboarding (Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Maintain asset inventory and tracking systems
  • Coordinate equipment shipments, receivables, and surplus processing
  • Assist with office moves, adds, and changes
  • Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 and MS Office 2016
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting (wired/wireless, ping, traceroute)
  • Collaborate with IT teams for testing and validation
  • Communicate issue status, resolutions, and updates to users
  • Escalate issues when required
 
Required Qualifications
3+ years of IT support experience
Strong experience in:
Customer support & ticket prioritization
Microsoft 365 onboarding (Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint)
Data migration (Exchange, M365, Google Workspace M365)
Experience troubleshooting:
Windows 10/11
Microsoft Office 2016
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage priorities
Willingness to travel within the state
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Active Directory (users, computers, groups, policies) 2+ years
Basic networking (wired/wireless troubleshooting, ping, traceroute) 1+ year
Knowledge of court systems/processes
Bachelor s Degree
