What you'll be doing...

DUTIES: Provide technical leadership across the IT organization, including business needs analysis, IT systems & solutions design, architecture and implementation to ensure the systems scalability and reliability; Lead website redesign, development of robust, highly interactive and responsive web-based interfaces, and integration of Restful API's, SOA services, and external web services; Lead the design, architecture and implementation of eCommerce solutions, including Rest API development for eCommerce as services, payment plugins, WebSphere Commerce schedulers, and extended eCommerce sites for setting up new customer facing Commerce stores; Lead unit and system integration test cases, code reviews, code deployment, CI/CD pipeline development, build/deployment automation, technical artifacts for applications and business engagement, and proof of concept for micro front-end websites and component-based features; Define technical strategies and roadmaps, review the proposed technical architecture, provide solutions/feedback, and lead/advise the platform, infrastructure shared services, and dependent APIs to empower technology teams to deliver faster; Lead and manage IT projects and the commercial initiatives that require customizing and extending HCL Commerce platform in AWS cloud infrastructure, including high-level solutions design and the security measures to project IT systems/data meeting PCI standards; Lead software development efforts for digital product catalog development, execute enterprise technology strategy for product catalog, establish goals/objectives, recommend solutions for product offerings, implement major product catalog aspects and ensure the platform quality and reliability; Lead and be the single point of contact for relationship and technology efforts, guide, mentor and manage technical team members.

What we're looking for...

Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer/Developer, System Engineer, WebSphere Commerce Developer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 6 years in designing, developing and integrating custom solutions within WebSphere Commerce V6 and V7, WebSphere Commerce V9 migration in AWS Cloud infrastructure and development, and frontend frameworks development, using Java, Struts, Jenkins, Terraform, Helm, Commerce Management Center, Commerce Accelerator, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Dynatrace, New Relic, JSP, IBM Web Server, Application Server, ReactJS, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Bootstrap, SASS, Angular, TypeScript, jQuery, and Redux; and 5 years in microservice development and integration using Json, Redis, and API gateway, and SQL and database development using DB2, Oracle, and PostGres. Where you'll be working
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.
