Job DescriptionCritical Deliverables- Configuration of DevOps pipelines to support code migration and deployment processes.
- Creation and management of deployment packages across all environments.
- Development of rollback and contingency plans for release activities.
- Documentation of DevOps workflows, environment configurations, and operational procedures.
Required Expertise- Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Salesforce CLI and Visual Studio Code.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment methodologies.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Ability to manage metadata deployments and resolve merge or deployment conflicts.
ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure & Operations- Build and maintain production infrastructure and supporting services.
- Ensure infrastructure security and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain processes, tools, and documentation that support production operations.
- Participate in evaluating new software, hardware, and infrastructure solutions.
Automation & Development- Utilize scripting languages (e.g., Go, Java, Python, Perl, Shell) to automate tasks, generate reports, and build internal tools.
- Support continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows.
- Apply automation skills using tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or SaltStack.
- Work with technologies such as PHP, Go, Python, Scala, Ruby, JavaScript, Memcached, LAMP, NGINX, Node.js, NoSQL databases, and Varnish.
Systems Engineering- Apply knowledge of software development methodologies including profiling, regression testing, continuous integration, and automated deployments.
- Contribute as a systems engineer or software developer within LAMP or similar environments.
- Support high-availability, high-performance, open-source web technologies.
- Work with cloud platforms, open-source databases, and caching layers.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning in AWS using tools such as Ansible, Packer, and Terraform.
Distributed Systems & Modern Platforms- Work with distributed systems and related technologies including DFS, Kubernetes, Swarm, Mesosphere, Docker, service discovery tools, container orchestration, and microservices.
- Engage with technologies such as Consul, Vault, Apache, Spark, Hadoop, CLI tools, and APIs.
Qualifications / Education- Degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with scripting and software development.
- Familiarity with open-source monitoring and alerting systems.
- Experience working with web applications.
- Knowledge of IP networking and load-balancing technologies.
- Experience with systems automation.
- Exposure to big data systems and distributed computing environments.
