Job Summary

Enterprise Data Hub (EDH) Platform acts as the critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical data engineering teams.

In this role, the analyst translates complex business needs into functional, data-driven solutions within a large-scale data environment.

This role will be embedded in the EDH Platform pod.

The focus is on requirements, backlog definition, and delivery support for platform work that underpins other pods.

Summary

As a Senior Business Analyst (Sr. BA) for EDH Platform, you will own requirements and analysis for platform-focused epics and stories. You will:

• Turn ambiguous platform needs into clear, testable requirements.
• Structure and maintain the EDH Platform backlog so engineers can execute efficiently.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and delivery partners to keep work flowing smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements discovery with stakeholders across Finance, Growth/CCO, Product & Tech, and Platform.
• Translate needs into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria suitable for data engineering teams.
• Organize and maintain the EDH Platform backlog, including grooming, prioritization support, and readiness for sprint planning.
• Act as a delivery partner for the pod: track status of active items, highlight risks/blocks, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Support validation and UAT by defining test cases and coordinating stakeholder sign-off.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years in Business Analysis, Product Analysis, or similar roles on data or platform teams.
• Proven ability to write clear, structured requirements and user stories for technical teams.
• Working knowledge of data platforms and analytics use cases (e.g., data warehouses, dbt-style modeling, BI/reporting).
• Hands-on experience with backlog management and agile delivery (e.g., Jira).
• Strong facilitation and communication skills, including managing trade-offs and expectations across multiple stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with data platform tooling (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, BI tools).
• Familiarity with flow-based delivery concepts (WIP, cycle time, throughput) and applying them in practice.
• Experience working in a pod-based or squad-based delivery model alongside project/program managers and data engineers.
