You will consult on large-scale, high-impact initiatives, evaluate multifaceted engineering problems, and contribute to solutions that align with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of Pega applications with a strong focus on case management and workflow orchestration
  • Act as a hands-on technical lead, contributing directly to code and configuration across Pega rules, flows, integrations, UI, and decisioning
  • Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, maintainable Pega solutions
  • Design and implement end-to-end case lifecycles, including stages, steps, SLAs, approvals, escalations, subcases, and spin-offs
  • Optimize user experiences for case workers using Pega UX components (sections, views, dashboards)
  • Design and support system integrations using REST, SOAP, Pega connectors, services, and integration patterns (sync/async, queue processors)
  • Partner with upstream and downstream system teams to define and deliver integration contracts
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration, performance, and production issues
  • Provide mentorship through code reviews, technical guidance, and best-practice enforcement
  • Participate in performance tuning, defect resolution, deployments, and production support as needed
  • Ensure all solutions comply with security, audit, regulatory, and operational standards
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, consulting, training, military service, or education
  • 5+ years of hands-on Pega platform development experience
  • Strong expertise in Pega Case Management
  • Experience designing and implementing integrations using REST and SOAP
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Pega rules engine
    • Flow rules, decision tables, and data pages
    • Performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Experience leading or mentoring development teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pega certifications such as CSSA and/or CLSA
  • Experience with Pega Infinity (latest versions preferred)
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for Pega
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
What You'll Bring
  • A hands-on leadership mindset with a passion for building high-quality, scalable solutions
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical partners
  • A problem-solving approach to complex, large-scale engineering challenges
Additional Information
  • This role is a backfill position
  • Return-to-Office: 3 days per week onsite (mandatory)
  • Supplier Requirements:
    • All resumes must be submitted through Beeline
    • No direct solicitation or communication with the hiring manager while the position is active
