We are hiring a Developer - UX User Interface Professional!

Role: Developer - UX User Interface Professional

Supporting: Large Financial Services Client

Location: McLean, VA (Onsite)

Assignment Type: Contract Only

Duration: ~6 Months

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop highly responsive, user-facing features using React, Redux, and TypeScript/JavaScript
• Build reusable components and scalable front-end libraries
• Translate business needs and design concepts into intuitive, high-quality UI experiences
• Collaborate with DevOps, API, and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless solutions
• Optimize components for performance and scalability
• Create rich visualizations to present large volumes of financial data
• Contribute to UI standards, code reviews, and front-end architecture decisions

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of UI development experience with strong expertise in React 18, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and SASS
• Hands-on experience with Redux, RESTful APIs, and building Single Page Applications (SPAs)
• Strong understanding of React fundamentals, component architecture, and state management
• Experience with modern UI frameworks and libraries such as Material UI (MUI) and AG Grid
• Familiarity with modern build tools (Vite.js, Webpack, Rollup) and dependency management
• Experience working with browser debugging tools and code versioning (Git)
• Ability to translate wireframes/designs into high-quality code (Figma experience preferred)
• Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset

Nice to Have:

• Experience with automated testing tools such as Jest and React Testing Library
• Knowledge of Node.js and frontend build pipelines
• Exposure to financial services environments

Compensation and Benefits: The pay rate for this position is between $40.00 and $54.00 per hour. Please note that the final rate may be contingent on experience and other factors.
