Role Overview
We are seeking an IT Support Technician for a contract position in Portland, OR. This role is focused on providing on-site IT service delivery, including hardware support, troubleshooting, and customer service within a corporate environment. The position requires a candidate with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills to support end-users and maintain client assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide IT service delivery, including IMAC, break/fix, and deskside support.
- Coordinate with end-users to manage expectations and schedule services.
- Perform troubleshooting, parts replacement, system upgrades, and repairs on client assets.
- Identify and escalate potential issues to the site lead to ensure operational stability.
- Adhere to predefined procedures and technical scripts for installation and maintenance tasks.
- Support end-users in a clinical setting with their specific applications.
- Maintain customer satisfaction by striving to meet all service level agreements.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in servicing or deploying computer equipment in a corporate environment is required. Candidates must have a background in IT hardware support and customer service, including conflict resolution.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of the Windows operating system environment is necessary. The candidate must be able to comprehend and follow technical instructions and scripts.
