Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Development Engineer to join a team responsible for developing a Linux-based validation operating system. This role supports the validation of System-on-a-Chip (SoC) compute products for large-scale cloud platforms. The position involves applying principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of software and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to cloud-based validation initiatives by building and connecting tools and utilities.
- Support product validation efforts leveraging cloud infrastructure.
- Manage and support security-related work items and integrations tied to cloud-based solutions.
- Modify existing databases and database management systems.
- Write and code logical and physical database descriptions.
- Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope.
- Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required.
- Troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve them.
Required Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field is required.
Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience is required.
Technical Skills:- A completed Azure Security Certification is mandatory upon submission.
- Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, from analysis to delivery.
- Proficiency with computer development software, such as SQL.
- General knowledge of computer hardware and software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Python development experience is preferred.
