The Software Engineer (iOS) will consult on complex software engineering initiatives with enterprise-wide impact and contribute to large-scale planning efforts. This role requires expertise in framework-level iOS development using Swift, SwiftUI, and Combine, along with the ability to evaluate and resolve sophisticated, multi-dimensional technical challenges. The engineer will strategically collaborate with client personnel to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant mobile solutions while adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult on and contribute to complex, large-scale iOS engineering initiatives.
- Design, implement, and maintain framework-level iOS solutions using Swift, SwiftUI, and Combine.
- Evaluate and resolve multi-faceted technical challenges, including long-term architectural considerations.
- Collaborate strategically with product owners, architects, and other engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with security, risk management, and internal policy requirements.
- Review architecture, code quality, and development standards across iOS solutions.
- Provide technical guidance to other engineers as needed.
- Support long-term platform strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 4+ years of Swift development, including SwiftUI and Combine for modern iOS architectures.
- Experience with framework-level iOS development for enterprise-grade mobile applications.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex, multi-faceted engineering challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to strategically collaborate and consult with cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- FinTech or banking industry experience.
- Examples of published iOS applications available in public app stores.
- Technical degree or equivalent hands-on professional experience.
