Job Overview:

Pay Range: $35hr - $40hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• High school diploma, trade school certification, specialized training/apprenticeship, or equivalent in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 1 4 years of manufacturing technician experience.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Ability to work with assemblers and other non-technical personnel.
• Ability to teach, coach, and support production personnel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under limited supervision.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Experience:

• 1 4 years of experience as a Manufacturing Technician.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations, process troubleshooting, and equipment support.
• Experience with new product introductions and production equipment support preferred.
• Experience with lean manufacturing processes, techniques, and best practices.
• Medical device manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a front-line process technician supporting the Operations team.
• Support new product launch activities and production operations.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and investigate process issues.
• Work with assemblers to support production and resolve day-to-day process challenges.
• Support products that include new production equipment, process improvements, and cost reductions.
• Assist with new product introductions.
• Support the design and development of manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures.
• Help meet daily production schedules while improving productivity and product quality.
• Apply lean manufacturing processes, techniques, and best practices.
• Coach and support the Operations team and assemblers.
• Instruct production personnel in the manufacturing and testing of product devices.
• Recommend and implement process, tooling, and equipment changes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Interpret test data, analyze product performance, and develop summaries.
• Assist in initiating yield improvements.
• Support the maintenance team to ensure continuous operation of production equipment.
• Assist engineers in troubleshooting safety, quality, or process issues.
• Perform scrap dissection and support root cause investigations.
• Summarize and communicate information across shifts and with other functional areas.
• Support company initiatives in alignment with Quality Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain positive and cooperative communication with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
