Java Lead

Location – Raleigh NC (Local only)

Join our dynamic team as a Java Lead Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in leading and mentoring a team of Java developers. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust applications using Java and Spring Boot frameworks. Your expertise will be crucial in integrating our applications with AWS Cloud and Aurora SQL DB, ensuring seamless performance and scalability. With exposure to the banking domain and a background in Specification-Driven Development (SDD), you will contribute to the creation of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Java developers, providing guidance and support in the development process.
  • Design, develop, and deploy applications using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
  • Integrate applications with AWS Cloud services and Aurora SQL DB, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and problem-solving expertise to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance application development.
  • Document technical specifications, design documents, and user manuals.

Requirements

<>Required Skills
  • Proven experience as a Java Lead Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud services and Aurora SQL DB.
  • Exposure to the banking domain and Specification-Driven Development (SDD) is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
<>Preferred Skills
  • Experience with AI SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of other cloud platforms and databases.
  • Certifications in Java, Spring Boot, or AWS are a plus.
