Description
We are looking for an experienced Adaptive Planning Consultant to enhance and modernize a Workday Adaptive Planning environment, ensuring it delivers optimal financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting capabilities. This role focuses on improving data integration, refining model structure, and implementing advanced planning features such as scenario modeling and balance sheet forecasting. This is a long-term contract opportunity based in Jacksonville, Florida. Remote candidates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and optimize the existing Adaptive Planning system to ensure alignment with enterprise financial reporting needs.
Enhance data integration processes, including improving or replacing NetSuite Saved Search-based actuals loads.
Redesign model structures, segmentation, and data granularity to support comprehensive reporting and planning.
Develop and implement advanced planning features such as balance sheet forecasting and scenario modeling.
Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to establish a shared governance model and improve system stability.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of system design, integrations, and best practices.
Strengthen budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting capabilities within the Adaptive Planning platform.
Address system limitations and data load challenges to ensure smooth operations.
Provide expertise in redesigning levels, dimensions, and models to meet evolving business needs.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience working with Workday Adaptive Planning.
Solid understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP& A), including budgeting and forecasting.
Proven experience integrating Adaptive Planning with third-party financial systems such as NetSuite or Oracle.
Ability to address data integration challenges and optimize system performance.
Expertise in redesigning levels, dimensions, and models within Adaptive Planning.
Comfortable working in legacy or inherited system environments.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with both financial and technical stakeholders.
Adaptive Planning certifications or relevant qualifications are a plus.
