Description
We are looking for an experienced HRIS Architect to lead strategic initiatives focused on HR systems and workforce operations. Based in Cleveland, Ohio, this position will play a critical role in enhancing HR processes, metrics, and service delivery across the organization. As a Long-term Contract role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize HR platforms and drive impactful changes that align with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive HR system strategy, ensuring alignment across performance, learning, and compliance platforms.
Oversee data management tasks such as HR data cleanup, system harmonization, and reporting readiness for Workday.
Lead enterprise-wide HR process improvement initiatives, including change management programs.
Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, Academic Affairs, and Union leadership to ensure seamless integration and governance.
Monitor HR key performance indicators and operational metrics to support workforce planning and executive reporting needs.
Manage HR operational service delivery to maintain system stability and efficiency.
Provide leadership and mentorship to HR team members, fostering accountability and performance excellence.
Ensure effective governance of non-Workday HR platforms and maintain compliance with organizational policies.
Requirements
Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in HRIS, HR Operations, or HR Technology leadership roles.
Strong expertise in managing multi-system HR environments, including platforms like Workday and PeopleSoft.
Proven ability to lead complex change management and transformation projects.
Exceptional stakeholder management and governance skills, with experience collaborating across diverse teams.
Familiarity with HR analytics, workforce planning, and data strategy.
Preferred experience in higher education, healthcare, or government sectors.
Knowledge of Workday ERP, Workday HCM, Workday Studio, and PeopleSoft systems.
Solid understanding of applicant tracking systems and HR integration tools.
