Data Enablement Specialist (Contract)

Contract Duration: 12 weeks (3 months)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, On-site
Pay Rate: Up to $18.26/hour
About the Role

We are seeking a Data Enablement Specialist who goes beyond delivering reports to actively enabling teams to understand, interpret, and act on data. This role serves as a bridge between complex data sets and actionable business insights. The ideal candidate is both analytical and collaborative, spending approximately 50% of their time performing deep-dive analysis and 50% coaching and enabling team members to improve data literacy and decision-making.

You will be the go-to resource for transforming raw data into meaningful insights that support operational performance and strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insights
  • Perform deep-dive analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within large and complex datasets.
  • Translate data findings into clear, actionable insights aligned with departmental KPIs and business objectives.
  • Develop forward-looking insights by analyzing historical data to support forecasting and planning.

Data Enablement & Coaching
  • Act as a mentor and coach to non-technical stakeholders, helping them interpret data and build confidence in data-driven decision-making.
  • Teach teams how to tell compelling stories with data and apply insights to real business scenarios.

Data Quality & Governance
  • Advocate for strong data quality by identifying gaps or inconsistencies in data collection and advising on improvements at the source.
  • Partner with teams to improve data accuracy, integrity, and usability.

Visualization & Tools
  • Create intuitive dashboards, reports, and visualization tools that enable self-service access to data.
  • Support stakeholders in effectively using reporting tools to answer business questions independently.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data into meaningful insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in training, presentation, and documentation contexts.
Preferred Technical Skills
  • Experience with data tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or Python/R/AI-based analytics tools.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.

  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of how data supports business strategy and operational goals.
  • Communication: Proven ability to present insights, document processes, and train stakeholders effectively.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable working cross-functionally to align data initiatives with business needs.
