We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Warranty Customer Service Representative to join our team in the construction industry. This role is crucial to ensure the satisfaction of our customers by addressing their concerns, evaluating warranty requests, and supervising warranty repairs. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction, customer service, and project management, and will be the primary point of contact for homeowners. This position requires excellent communication skills, a professional presentation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet with Superintendent to discuss project details and address any issues.
  • Review and deliver new homes to customers, ensuring all aspects meet the company's high-quality standards.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer concerns and complaints.
  • Evaluate warranty requests and determine the appropriate course of action.
  • Schedule and supervise warranty repairs, ensuring all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage trades, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Obtain final sign-offs from homeowners, confirming their satisfaction with the repair work.
  • Conduct pre-walk inspections of homes, checking appliances and running utilities to identify any potential damage or repairs needed.
  • Perform warranty orientation for homeowners, explaining the details and conditions of their warranty.
  • Maintain regular contact with the Warranty Assistant Manager, providing updates on warranty claims and repairs.
  • Use Microsoft Office to update calendars, document warranty claims and repairs, and manage customer information.
  • Take pictures of any damage for documentation purposes.
  • Work with Sales Agents to ensure a seamless transition for homeowners.
  • Regularly walk all models to ensure they are in excellent condition.
  • Use all available technology to streamline processes and improve customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in project management and managing trades.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Professional presentation and demeanor.
  • Ability to respond effectively to customer concerns and complaints.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with warranty claims and repairs is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with a team and independently.
  • Must be courteous and make the best use of time.
