Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Muskegon that are seeking skilled Applications Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement software solutions for manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing applications and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define application requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for applications and systems.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on application usage.
• Optimize application performance and ensure system reliability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or field support within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial control systems.
• Proven ability to interpret technical specifications, CAD drawings, and customer requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on providing practical, implementable solutions.
• Proficient in presenting complex technical information to diverse audiences.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, etc.)
• Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems (Teamcenter, Windchill, Arena, etc.)
• Understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, molding, assembly, etc.)
• Experience with scripting or programming languages (Python, C++, C#, Java, etc.)
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (ISO, ASTM, FDA, etc.)
