Windows Server / VMware / Nutanix Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Windows Server, VMware, and Nutanix Engineer to support and manage enterprise infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, virtualization technologies, and hyperconverged infrastructure, along with excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

This role involves managing complex server environments, ensuring system availability, performance optimization, security compliance, and supporting virtualization platforms in a 24x7 operational setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows Server (2012 2022) environments

• Manage Active Directory, including GPOs, trusts, and best practices

• Configure and maintain Windows Clustering, File Servers, and Hyper-V

• Troubleshoot Windows Server, AD, VMware, and virtualization issues with root cause analysis

• Support VMware ESX/ESXi environments including HA, DRS, vCenter

• Perform P2V migrations, VMotion, performance tuning, and resource optimization

• Manage backup and recovery of virtual machines and servers

• Work with Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (preferred)

• Apply OS hardening, patching, and security best practices

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document procedures

• Support networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, IP addressing)

• Be available for 24x7 support operations
